Xenia Rotary Disc Golf Course Moves Forward

Thanks to a generous donation of $7000 from the Xenia Rotary Club, the Xenia Disc Golf Course has reached their goal of $10,000 for developing the new community course, which will be located in Sol Arnovitz Park.

The course will be named the Xenia Rotary Disc Golf Course, and will feature a wooded setting with a stream, hills, grassy plains, and challenging terrain suitable for beginners as well as the more advanced players. There are old growth trees as well as a wide variety of smaller trees, underbrush, and dramatic changes in elevation to challenge even the experienced disc golfer.

Xenia City Councilman Joshua Long said, “The course would not be possible, without the generous donations from the Xenia Rotary Club and it’s members. Finalizing funding means our committee may focus on moving forward with the City of Xenia on the course design and installation.“
